It would appear he is going to rely on hard grease for lubrication. This would be fine for the type of unit he made as every thin is almost in the same constant rotation only differing when making turns causing 1 wheel to over run or under run the other.
I would be more concerned with adding the snap ring retainers to secure the axles to the spider gears. This can be accomplished on at least 1 of the axles during assembly, The other side shouldn't be a problem either since there is room behind the pillow block bearing.
All in all it is a great idea
