The question is do you like it? you are the one who you need to please. What I may think of it or what someone else may think of it could be widely different view points based on a number of things our tastes in color choice or design choice weighing heavily on our opinions.
I can see care in prep work was an important aspect of your creation yielding a quality finished product so that would be my only avenue for comment.
I happen to like vastly contrasting colors as in your door being black in an all white room there are other colors which would achieve the same visual effect as well.
So I will close by saying good job from the standpoint of quality.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I like it as well. As said, the importance is YOU like it.
Both here (Midwest) and my home (West Coast), personalized doors are a 'thing', but not universal.
Infinite variety, color schemes, contrasts, with varying degrees of success. Not knowing the individuals, the intent is?
But all that is OK. In today's cookie cutter landscape of sameness, to make a statement is worthy.
Noticed somewhat unfamiliar lettering on the paint cans. I wish more HMT'ers would disclose a hint what areas they inhabit. Just saw Ukrainian post, using Milwaukee hole saws.
What shrinks borders? Understanding other cultures. We've had classical guitarists stay with us; Germany, Alabama, Ukraine and Mongolia. Never had more fun.
Sincerely,
