I do not understand what that has to do with homemade???
I ran a machine for more than 20 years of my life. The Germans know how to make folding machines.

Neither do all the vintage machines we see on here but you're not complaining about them. Its all about the interest factor. You ran a machine that did this for 20 years, its boring to you. Perhaps not so much to someone else

!2bolts I am not complaining about the equipment or the 20 I ran them. You need to read my reply, I did not see what it had to do with HOMEMADE? That machine is one of the better unless you are comparing it to a Stall and then it is a piece of garbage. The Germans made a fine machine and it worked very well.

I did not want to ruffle your feathers, I guess it was your first time doing a video?

After looking at the video, it is not stapling anything! If it being stapled and trimmed, it is at another station. When I ran that machine we ran a stapler and a trimmer in line. If I ran that slow they would have fired me. Taking down folded signatures is nothing, I also did the loading the paper on the feed board too.

People have different opinions. I used Baum folders for years; made in America. The term for stapleing in production machines such as illustrated is "stitching" and you would have seen a coil of wire that the staples were made from as the machine ran.
San Francisco had hundreds of them when I was working in the printing industry but I doubt if you can find even one these days.
