    low pro milling clamps

    hey shed dwellers,

Just a little thing I made for the mill. They clamp in position via the bolt through to the T nuts then the angled bolt pushes the clamps onto the material. The angled holes were made with the countersink bit.

The only thing that bothers me is the height of the lock down wedge. It really needs to be higher to get the whole torque in tightening.
    Super idea tho.

Hey nelson, thanks, a higher wedge would work better. These do have their limitations and i prefer to hold material with parallels in a vice. I made these partly to see if they would work.

I've seen similar ones and have it in mind for my mini pallet. Making up several different profiles to be able to hold almost everything.
    Very nice work

Using the wedge is a lot simpler than using screws. Took me a moment to understand the movement.
