    That looks like a very nice project. You demonstrated some nice techniques and I enjoyed the video. Thanks!

    I also have noticed that jigs are needed when using punches for numbers and letters. I have also noticed that many of the sets of characters do not have consistent placement of the characters on the end of thhe punch. Even with guides, you can get crooked lines. And I am talking about name brand character sets, not just cheap import ones.

    If I make something, it will be a bit more versatile.

    Yes, I've seen that too, even in brand-name sets. Makes one wonder why.
    As to versatility, how would you overcome the problem of the numerals or characters not being exactly located from one to another?
