    I have questions. Looking at these, when full, are they effectively an 8,000 pound gyroscope? I wonder if they experience any precession effects or if they have baffling inside them to prevent sloshing like tanker trucks do.

    LeTourneau invented and made many strange machines for the DEW line project among many other improbable projects. Obviously many of his somewhat zany looking builds could never have been built without the cooperation and assistance of other companies here is an interesting information on the rolling fuel transport the tires were developed and tested by Firestone
