    That's a technique I haven't seen before - a combination of metal spinning (forcing a rotating workpiece against an anvil using pressure) and facing with a shear tool to remove metal while leaving a smooth finish).

    Now I'm gonna go spatula some eggs, skillet some bacon and espresso some coffee.
    If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.

    I had no idea how those were made. Thanks for posting. We used to knock them over in high school band once in a while and they made a heck of a crash...

    The video cymbal appears to have been hammer-formed then cut. The texture is unlike any I've seen, surely it has something to do with the tone, plus a embossed band divides center from outer section...
    Normally they look to have been spun, on both sides.
