    Lathe Tool Post Cap

    Hi All,
I recently made a tool post cap to replace the nut on the top of my tool post.
This cap makes loosening and tightening the tool post much much easier, allowing for very quick and easy repositioning of the tool.
Use of a thrust washer makes the action smooth and requires very little force to either loosen or tighten.
Here's the video of the project.
Please comment if you have any questions.
    Thanks!

I've just started researching lathes as I want to get into machining so my opinion is not worth anything yet. I have been watching videos and reading. I subscribed and gave you a thumbs up.

Lack of experience is not a lack of ability.
It wasn't too long ago that I was in the same place, watching other people make things and wanting to learn to do it myself.
If you are reading and researching then you're already 5 steps ahead of many hobbyists, to be brutally honest lol.
So to me anyway, you're opinion is worth as much as anyone else's, and more than some... haha
Thanks so much for the watch, sub, and feedback!
I really do appreciate it, it's hard to convey how much it means to me when other folks find something of value in my work.
Like I said, it wasn't long ago when I was watching others and never would have imagined that I'd be able to do something similar.
So again, thank you very much!
