Lathe carriage lock low profile lever
Hi,
After having recently installed my new DRO glass scale on my lathe cross slide, I had no more access to the carriage lock screw, which is quite annoying for some operations like parting off.
So I decided to disassemble the scale and made a small contraption with a milled hex head and a cross pinned lever that could keep below the scale.

The low profile lever , made on the lathe, milled using a rotary table to form the hex key, lever is press fit in the head.
