I was discussing laser safety with one of our prof's yesterday, he'd be unsurprised at this, the 'rust removal laser' demo we've seen on-line is for real but as Chinese Health and Safety is virtually non-existent one of the sales team that did the demo's caught a specular reflection under his laser goggles, not good with a multi-kilowatt laser, and was permanently blinded in both eye's and being useless to the company was fired, such an 'eraser' is very likely to have more than enough power to blind...
