I was curious about the price as well... some google searching brought up that a used one in UK sold for $3900, and a used one in Germany sold for $3600. That is certainly cheaper than I thought it would be!
Seems more common in Japan and China.
For the right construction company, this would save a lot of effort and mess.

Might be handy for trenching in loose, dry dirt, as shown in the video.
Wont show this to my nephew, he is bound to want one!
not that hard to build, engine runs pump, pump runs 3 motors& hyd rams.
You gotta admit though, you'd look pretty goofy running one of those things.
