    Keypad with 2x16 displays

I have a case of old, but never used industrial keypad displays. These are ruggedly made, in anti-static bags, waiting to serve a useful purpose.

I can't think of a more deserving group of makers to offer these to at the moment.

So, any Supporting Member (I'll check) who would like some of these, let me know how many. Only cost is my shipping plus any PayPay or credit card fees. If someone needs extra assurance, I can make a private eBay listing for you (with higher fees) so you have their Buyer Protection Plan. I'm a "Top Rated Seller" with 100% positive rating to allay any fears.

If you feel I'm not charging enough, then please make a donation to the management of this forum.

My wife drew a schematic of these keypads to aide in their use.

I just noticed there doesn't appear to be a DONATE button on this forum. Is there a way for someone to send the management a one time donation?

If not, I would suggest adding one. Nothing big and flashy, but there like a part of Contact US.

    Thanks for all the work!

Very kind and benevolent gesture. I don't have electronics pursuits or I'd participate. It would be a good input for simple 1D/ 2D motion like indexer or plasma, maybe a intimidating alarm keypad.
And a donate button wouldn't seem obtrusive; especially available to unregistered users.
    Sincerely,

    Thumbs up

I just received some of these keypads. The tracking info let me follow the package at every stop from the US west coast to here in Spain. The wonders of the net.

I plan to use a couple on a control panel for my CNC Bridgeport. I didn't need the display on both but the good news is that it is very easy to separate the keypad and display physically and they are not coupled electrically anyway. Both the keypad and the 2 x 16 display are usable when separated, so there is no sacrifice of one or the other.

Here is a comparison between a separated and complete unit.

This shows how I will be using a pair of the keypad. The display will be for spindle RPM and the pads will be for numbers and the letters most used in G-code programming. These pads will greatly reduce the need to use a mouse when using the CNC. They will supplement a small control panel that I made a month or so back.

So if you have a project which needs an industrial quality keypad and/or 2x16 display then jdurand tells me that he has plenty left, all looking for good homes.
