    Keep Encouraging Industriousness

I'm just an old fart who likes to tinker with everything, like taking something that is broke and making it work, or modifying it to do something different. Unfortunately so much of the newer stuff is unfix-able or isn't worth the time and effort.
I just stumbled on this site and am glad to see some of the inventiveness shown here.
You people are going to be in big demand in a few years after the 'SHTF' so keep up the good work.
    And Keep Encouraging Industriousness.

Hi Jerry - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

Lots of old farts around here, so I bet you'll fit in well.

Do you see any projects here that you might add to your build list?

    Hi Jerry,

    Welcome!

    Yep, that's the right philosophy!

What sort of homemade tools do you like best? Are you working on anything at the moment?

Hi Jon, I spotted several projects of interest but currently I am house-setting my folks farm until it sells and can not start any projects. Hopefully in a few months I will be able to venture in.

Hi Ken, I'm not sure if I have a specific like best area, I guess the things that fascinated me most was those who made lathes and mills from other pieces of shop equipment. But I was also impressed with several other projects, and I only touched the surface of projects, totally neat site.
