    Jeans distressing machine - GIF

Jeans distressing machine. I'm not even into distressed finishes on wood or metal; this is scary!

I'm with you Jon why would I pay for damaged jeans...let alone the ones that have holes in them for $100-$150 per. And they call the "Designer Jeans" meaning more bucks for less product. I'll wear in my own holes and stretch them myself thank you...especially for the price of jeans now days. And what ever happened to 517's, my personal favorites all time...501's were a pain and never fit me right.

Anyone who can't put their own wrinkles or holes or fade marks in their jeans have no business wearing them.
But then again you never wanted to show up for a job interview in new jeans and Shirt. save them for the 2nd day at work.
But don't show up for the interview in ragged ripped dirty clothes either. Clean and slightly worn only weld platter holes excepted.

Of course perhaps staged, but still cool. Captioned as: "Chinese grandpa insists on giving girl money to buy new clothes after seeing the holes in her jeans."

This really exemplifies many of the Chinese industrial GIFs we've seen lately. They seem to indicate an obvious technological advance from some of the previous Chinese industrial GIFs we've seen, and certainly in comparison to the GIFs of medieval-like manufacturing in India. Specifically, the Chinese seem to have adopted VERY basic safety procedures, and they're obviously better dressed, often in clean, untorn, dark jeans - the exact type of sturdy and useful pants that are considered uncool in America.

That a person is wearing such jeans, while himself working to intentionally partially destroy jeans for use by wealthier consumers, is telling.

People pay money to get clothes to make them look like a working person? I could sell them some of my old clothes and I’d be a millionaire! I’ve even heard people buying t-shirts with sweat stains built in? I know I could make big bucks selling sweat stained t-shirts! I figure I could produce 10 or so a day! At 100ea pretty soon you’re taking big money!
