I went to find out if you could see this on Google Earth. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything like it there, but I did discover that they apparently plant their rice paddies in circles, like you were mowing your lawn (unless you're one of those fancy guys with the outfield checkerboard grass). Over here, we tend to make long, straight rows and turn around at the end of each one. I'm guessing it's because each of their "fields" is much smaller than most cultivated plots here. If you plug the coordinates under the image into the Googles, you'll see what I mean.
