some guys should not be left alone around complicated machines.
Those sub sized half lorries have a horrible center of gravity if trying to work on them while raised on a 2 post lift, since almost all of their weight is from the back of the cab forward when the bed is empty.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

When Grand Inc. came out with the asymmetric 2 post lift design I told Bill Gooch the owner of the company that the first thing that will happen is some muffler shop guy will back a pickup on it because to drive it on the bed is going to stick out his door and he will either dump the vehicle or get himself killed when he starts racking on the old exhaust to remove it.
Na that wont happen
Then include 4 safety stands in all 2 post sales and have an inclusion written into the warranty and liability claim sheet or get ready to go out of business.
So to prove to me that it couldn't happen they backed a pickup on the test model then raised it a couple feet off the ground See it is stable. So I walked to the back of the truck and gave the rear bumper a little nudge upwards . Really stable isn't it I said with just the slightest bit more pressure this new truck and that lift would be scrap iron. They made some mods and included stands and better instructions on the use of that type lift. Nothing can be made idiot prove only idiot resistant.
