Introduction from a lurker

I've been getting and admiring the offerings of so many. Most of my work has been as a hobbyist blacksmith, most of that with a traveling forge I made to explain life for the 49'ers in California to 4th graders studying California history. The rig uses a bellows much like the traveling smith outfits in the Civil War, modified for civilian use. Looking to build a gas forge to continue smithing in my back yard without the coal smoke and donating my traveling rig.

Thanks for the welcome, Jon. The cart I use is one modified from Civil War blacksmith carts, much like the one in my avatar. Here's a photo of me in the yard of our church, demonstrating blacksmithing for an Antique Show we used to have. The bellows is the interesting part, with an intake on the bottom, a valve on the stationary mid-rib, and an exit through the copper pipe on the front of the rig down to the reclaimed rivet forge.
