    Installing the Spindle Bearing Grease Cup on an RF-30 Mill/Drill

    This task is the perfect storm of an awkward position, fine threads, and a large diameter topped with a thin coating of grease. It is far too easy to cross-thread the cup while struggling to hang onto it.

    Here is a trick that made the job easy.

    I agree those fine threaded bearing nuts can be royal pain, I've used your solution before, and it works like a charm.
