Cubic trefoil
I mentioned that my next project would be a so-called infinity cube. [The name is pretentious; it's neither infinite or a cube.]
It turns out that this form is much easier to make than the aforementioned trefoil. Although the part count is about the same as the trefoil, clamping the parts while the glue dries is much easier with this form. If you want to try one of these build this one first as training for the trefoil.
I like projects like this. The final product is useless but attractive and one learns new techniques (clamping methods in this case) in the construction.
