    Induction welder

For a number of years now I have been looks ng for sale me help in building an induction welder. I know about the ones made from microwave coils and those will generate the current/heat to do the job I need.

Ideally I need something that will weld 1/16th" 1018 cold roll over a 2” surface.

If anyone has some thoughts or has run across something like this I would appreciate them letting me know.

    Thank you.

I just pulled up how to make an induction welder on Google, there are plenty of links with information.
I did not open any links yet but I did see a PDF I'm going to look into it.
    I hope this helps.

My original post should of been "...looking for some help...". And "... The microwave ones are not powerful enough..."

Must of had my head somewhere else when I wrote it.

Thanks Rich. I will try Google again. Unfortunately those are the little microwave spot welder ones. But it has been awhile.

    Again thanks.

    Rich,

I Googled those welders and you were right. There is a bunch of them. Not to badly priced either.

    Thanks again.

    Rich,

Thanks. A friend gave me another idea that might work better. A resistance welder. I will post a new thread about it.
