    incomplete scruffy spray booth

    Hi All
I have used this spray booth for many years (I use the term spray booth loosely)

Basically a speedy frame cover in plastic. I did plan on cladding in thin aluminium and putting an extract fan and possibly a integral light. But 10 years later it keeps getting recovered in plastic and kept outside in all weathers when not required in the workshop. The booth is a good size and it does stop over spray covering the workshop.
I also place a tube across the top to hang components which is very convenient from carabiner snap hooks and "S" hooks.

When painting large heavy items which are to heavy to hang up I use a rotary positioning table in the booth. This enables me to rotate components 360 degrees. The positioning table is positioned under the cardboard to protect it from over spray.

When I find a suitable extract fan and light I will finish the spray booth

    Slight improvements to spray booth

    Hi All
Today spent some time sorting my poor mans spray booth. I decided to replace the plastic sheeting and pop rivet rather than use gaffer tape. I also welded 4 brackets to support to hanging rails. The portable light also makes a big difference to the booth.

As time goes on I add little features. This little piece of angle bolted to the side of the frame has made my life so much easier. I am no longer trying to prop up the airbrush every time I want to put it down. It is amazing how a five minute job can save you hours of frustration.
