This will only be of interest to knife makers I feel but I have become really into making Japanese blades. One of my favourite features is the Hamon. I have tried various techniques to create one, but no successfully, so I decided to get back to basics and try the technique described in Jim Hrisoulas's seminal book "The Complete Bladesmith".
