Hello everyone! Glad to join the forum and share ideas and such. Been in the hobby for 50+ years, worked at it as a professional for quite a few years as well. Left the shop well before the advent of machining centers, stepper motors, computers, and such. Just a plain 'ole handle & crank twister. Love lathe and mill work. Have a small size shop, but only really get to use it in the Winter months as it's just too hot here in Florida to use during the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall. Even the a/c in the shop just doesn't get it. At my age I'm too used to being comfortable and not sweating profusely!
I especially liked the small wire size drill sharpening fixture as I use them in model making all the time. Have always resorted to sharpening anything larger than a #76 by hand, a Dremel abrasive disk and #10 Optivisor. This little device will definitely help!
