I started making tools in 1952

I can hammer it out of iron or make it from electronics and software and about anything in between. Solving the problems along the way is what I am good at.

I started making tools because on the farm in the 50's money was short if it was't there I had to make it if I wanted it bad enough. I have visual memory and didn't need plans until I was well in my 50's and couldn't remember the derisions in my head. I see what I want in my minds eye and build it.

I discovered computers in 1977 and software the greatest tool of all as I can make new tools anytime I want them.

The tool I use most is Cran R on the computer and I am getting back into casting in firmer world. PLA plastic as an investment in lost wax casting looks really neat. Being about to use a 3D printer to print metal is a dream of mine.
