I built a Guillotine Tool!

Meant for Blacksmiths, but as with any tool, there are many different uses! As with almost everything I do it is in Video form.
Would love to hear feedback... and yes I know it was from a kit.. but it's the ideas that are important. I love inspiring people!

Too bad the opening wasn't a little bigger, say big enough for a machine operators head. YOu know the ones that call you after spending a great deal of time pushing the start button and seeing nothing happen suddenly decide that the machine is jammed beyond their understanding. A 5 min job then turns into an hour or more of untwisting things. Just kidding here I would never want to decapitate somebody for being stupid.

Lol I hear ya... this was just a small kit I was assembling from a fellow smith.. this same design can be scaled up to any size useable.. and custom dies made for it. I may have him convinced to do a 2 inch size as well

Wow... the guy sold out of these after I posted this video... I think that's neat. I still need to mount a hardy shank to it.. but j gotta work on welding a bit cleaner so it sits flat...
