Oh yes home of the big chicken. I'm from Augusta originally. I live in Mississippi now. My sister and her family live in Douglasville but she has lived in Marietta, Stone Mountain, and a bunch of places around Atlanta. Marietta is a nice place to be. Lots of stuff to do nearby.

Thanks to the wonders of fiberglass some no longer ave these problems.

There are downsides to fiberglass or plastic pans as well but they certainly are easier and more idiot proof to install. A well installed shower pan will last well in excess of 30-40 years. If the tile is maintained it can still look like new. Plastic and fiberglass can lose its luster after 10-20 years but is usually still water tight.
