The Mirror is some kind of authority?

I took a poll too, only yesterday. The response I got was 112% in favor of the Imperial system and -14% opposed (that's NEGATIVE 14%). That's about the same percentages as registered voters who voted in Chicago recently.

-With that grasp of math within the US constituencies, no wonder the US teachers evidently need this teaching aid, "Numberock",
Explaining US measures thru pop bottle caps, length of folders, football fields and softball bats. Excellent!:

That's right Mr Swede. If you can't attack the message, attack the messenger. I think there is a future for you in American politics.

I knew I shouldn't have downloaded the book. before I had finished my morning coffee.
The first thing that happened was to begin and try to build a correlation 1 unit of measure with another which can only be done if you have a set of standards for each town or country's descriptive measurements.
Now that all of the arterial fluid has evaporated from my cranium I think I'll just forget the whole mess and stick with using either the metric or imperial units when ever the requirement arises
But thanks for the link just the same.

    - Either you sincerely believe that said "results" are entirely reasonable, or they are just "fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive"
(which isn't very polite in the first place, but also violates the Acceptable Use Policy of HMT).

David, please explain: -What do you consider being the content of "the message", and who's "the messenger", then? The US Teachers? Numberock?
2nd thought of yours: -Thanks, but I simply don't agree with you, aside from it also being entirely impossible in the World as you know it.

    Have a nice day.

Well, I'm done in this thread, as I find neither any meaningful discussion going on, nor much recognition of logically valid arguments.

As I find my intentions and methods in this have all been in vain, I've done some self-assessments*:
-I'm getting back to the purposes of this site, and my very reasons for joining it in the first place, (from whom I've lately derailed),
well aware that some or other here might find that they "won" this (IMHO senseless) dispute.

I'm sorry for wasting your time and bandwidth - I've had a few projects on the back burner for far too long already.
I hope that you at least have found some entertainment and humor within, and not only of the utterly sad, unintentional variety.
