Very nice project. I like the gas cylinders used for the return (opening function). I did the same thing on my vertical hydraulic press. Did you make your plasma track cutter or buy it? That looks like a handy tool as well. You are a good craftsman.

that's a great little vice just add a pressure gauge to have some idea of the amount of clamping force being applied since without having the screw and bail it is harder to tell how tight you are clamping something.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I like it. Agree pressure gauge would add dependability. Think if I was to spend time on a hydraulic vise, it would be an 8 or 10 incher for the mill.
DIY videos compressing time intervals with 60 frames per second are helpful in reducing tedium, but happy the sound remains intact. I'd appreciate center-punching at 500 rounds per minute. Lol.

Speak of punches, an anecdote (aka hack).
A popular auction payment entity seeks to curb purchases (via payment for) in firearms and certain related products. As system of choice at that time, any policy (agenda) working to intervene legal trade is a concern.
So, I conducted a test on labeling; not erroneous just PC. Not overt as Galileo's finger, but identical frame of mind.
My truly wonderful full target .45 Remington Rand Gov't Model 1911-A1 arrived as scheduled. With receipt exactly as I worded it; High Speed Paper Punch, 11.43mm.
Was determined a legal FFL regulated exchange should occur, not filtered through arbitrary practices of third party. Calling them 3rd party is generous, not less than 6 were involved in the actual transaction.
Made me new owner of a genuinely handled and built machine by Frank Pachmayr himself. After testing with proper handloads; .452 SWC, Bullseye, large W-W pistol primer, great old GI brass; found my term not quite correct. Should have been Precision High Speed Paper Punch, 11.43mm.
Maybe their site limited how many characters populate a single line...

Looks like? What's looks like? He should be! And before some other group lures him in their direction
Not like HMT is short on room. Lol.
Reminds me of a cousins home, first floor half bathroom in particular. Within, an official looking, fire department style sign hails "Maximum Capacity: 500 persons"
    Lol.
