Interesting. Never realized how labour intensive they are.
I noted they had minimal safety gear.

Wheelie nice production line. Imagine the labour involved if they didn't have all the power/air tools and jigs.
The duel nailguns shooting out their tune reminded me of Burt Reynolds in deliverance.

Me too. but the chips were too large to inhale & the cyclone seemed to remove all fine dust but it was the eyes I which gave me concerned (they may have had ear plugs as machinery seemed above 75 Db). Maybe their guns dont fire the odd wrong angled nail usually due to change of grain direction or knots.

WHAT? i CAN'T HEAR YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT THE EAR PLUGS! But I bet, like most folks, they 'got used to' the loud woodworking machinery. BTW: I spent 20 years around machinery and despite grabbing my -31dB muffs every time I was in the shop, I still have tinnitus. (now I double-up with rolly-ups + muffs when doing loud stuff).

I REALLY liked the simple automation and direct-to-the-point special equipment. With a few of THESE ROBOTS:

,

they could darn near automate the whole thing and get rid of those pesky meat-based workers.

Hi Charles, there seems to be very loud noise when the lights are out and just the stars to watch. Maybe the worst (if possibly) of living in paradise. Something like static 4 me and sometimes like ringing. Some heredity & some industrial/commercial to blame & stupidity of managers(why I mentioned the 75 Db, like you.
