    Homemade Hatchet

Well its been a while since I worked in the shop but I came up with a cheap and easy little hatchet for fall yard work. I used a old 3 tipped edger blade and cut two of the tips off and welded them together. Then got a old oak limb from my brothers wood pile and sanded and shaved it into a handle. I them found dead center of the limb and cut a slit in it the thickness of the edger blade. Drilled 2 holes and fastened the blade in with 2 stainless bolts and some epoxy. Took me about 3hrs and cost me $0.00 to make. I love my old scrap pile

I dunno 'Man. You could definitely put an eye out with that thing. Unless, of course, that's its secondary purpose.
