Terrific build Bricoleando! Really enjoyed the fact you used the motor as a lathe to make the hub and disc. Also the jointed arc was very impressive! Thanks for the posting.

Great build Sir. Did you attach the abrasive with velcro or is it adhesive back paper?

WOW! I bow to you, sir. And am especially happy to see this as I really need to build a disc sander right now (and have the motor).
¡GUAUU! Me inclino ante usted, señor. Y estoy especialmente feliz de ver esto, ya que realmente necesito construir una lijadora de plata en este momento (y tener el motor). Lo siento mucho por la mala traducción al español de Google. :-)

For the rest of the HMT.N community, if I don't miss my guess, "bricoleando" means something roughly like "tinkerer" or the currently-hip "maker". (My Spanish is better than tourist but not much -- I'm just extrapolating from my (good) French, where the word is "bricoleur", and the suffixes correspond.

    Bricoleando,

Very impressive project and I think too many of us may overlook tool building using wood instead of steel. Don't let using wood hold you back from making very useful tools. That's is how I got started down the tool making path - its works - and I still have some of these tools from more than 50 years ago!

    Thank you for the video.

    Paul
