Home made sawmill

Basicly, i'm not the one who makes them. I'm here to present some of the things that my dad has built in the past few years. He's making lots of interesting things like, a small alcove that turns 360 degrees using electric motor, wood splitters, sawmills, tractors, potato planting machine... egh too much to explain.

This time i'm going to show home made sawmill. It's a swing blade sawmill. There's already lots of information given in the video description, but i will be glad to give yall answers to any questions that you might have.

Nice sawmill, Not sure I myself would be running it in shorts and sandals however.

I once worked for Potlatch, an American sawmill and lumber company. That,my friend, is a work of art.

Thank you guys. Yea, the flip flops and safety in overall is not at its finest

, but oh well. When we sold the sawmill, we did attach some security features like, a guard around the blade and lots of other things just to make it abit safer. The saddest part about this is that, my dad is not making any drawings before he makes these things. He does some sketches, but they do not really count as drawings. I'm trying to convince him that he should do some drawings since people seem to like his creations, but he's still against it.

Well, you could explain to him that he can only sell the sawmill once, but he can sell the drawings on here, over and over again. There are a ton of people on the internet selling plans for things that they have never built and that may, or may not, actually work. The fact that he actually builds his designs will get him quite the fine reputation.
