Hinged circular saw crosscut jig

This is version 3 of this hinged design. Its made from an aluminum/plastic composite panel called AL13 which is riveted to solid aluminum angle for added rigidity. The plywood cutting deck is screwed from the underside with countersunk screws.
It’s main function is for batch processing on the job site of various siding products: aluminum soffit, cement fibre siding, vinyl siding, etc. Usually it’s set up at a designated cut station but it’s really handy up on the pump Jack scaffolding as it nests perfectly on the horizontal ladder back.
