I have a log siding addition which includes a full bath.
On the great room side of the wall, I have a panel of log siding mounted to plywood with bolts securing it to the studs. Then builtin shelves on that wall.
Just remove the books, the shelves over the panel, and a 10 mm socket and I can replace the entire shower plumbing assembly. Just have to match the tile cutouts inside the shower. This is great when leaks happen.
