    HI from Mo

I love building stuff i have worked as a welder, machinist and carpenter. I build every thing i can from wrenches to a tractor made out of the frame of a 1959 GM truck.I haul scrap iron part time so i find alot of material to use and broken stuff to fix. I want to build a cart to put my tool boxes on with better wheels,a top to work on and a vise. I also want to build a portable drill press like a magnetic base drill that will use a clamp to hold it down. You guys have alot of great ideas and alot of imagination. Tool Junky

    Hi Tool junky,

Welcome! Glad to have you here.

Lots of great ideas in our Drilling and Drill Presses category - check it out; you're sure to find something interesting.

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.

    Hi Tool junky. Welcome!

I agree with DIYer, junkyards = DIY heaven. Plenty of materials and treasures waiting to be found.
Looking forward to your cart and drill press.
