Hi I'm new. Any ideas on projects for young students?

Hi

I am an Educator at a spescial needs school. The age group varies from 13 to 21 years. I run the maintenance centre. We do a little bit of everything. Welding, woodworking, building, electrical and any thing that comes our way.

I am always looking for small, easy and afforable projects for the students. We are in South Africa and the projects must also be practical.

We will start of with a few jet burners. (Metal and concrete) any other ideas would be welcome

I saw the rocket stove. Was browsing on pintrest and was directed to this one. The roket stove is very practical where there is still a lot of heating done on open fires to prepare food. I have a few pieces of 100mm square tubing in the centre, that will come in handy. I was looking for plans on folding chairs made from 25x3mm flat bar.
