Hi I'm a retired truck driver, welder, construction superintendent, and maintenance mechanic. I have gotten some great ideas from this site and hope to post some of my projects soon.
I am enjoying running my part time welding/maintenance business. I am building a set of treated wood steps for a deck currently. I love that I have the time to build my homemade tools.

Thanks for the welcome!
Yes I just built my version of the wire clamp tool, will post some photos as soon as I get a card for my camera.
I like so many projects on here, it's so hard to name all I would like to build.
I forgot to mention that I also spent a couple of years of commercial shrimping/fishing in my younger days.
So that means I like anything from boats to bats(old that is)!
I just finished my version of clamping sawhorses.
I have built some welding clamps and stands, also.
