Actually, am looking for a way to reproducibly sharpen handsaws.....the YouTube video by Mikhandmaker was great.

Most of the stuff in that video I can do, and suppose can figure a work-around on account of no lathe......

I have a couple questions:

Is there a formal plan to build that (Mikhandmaker) saw sharpener?

or are there other simpler mechanism to reliably sharpen hand-sharpen handsaws?

I already have the Veritas file guide....and used last night, but I am not too good @ it.
