I started making things from junk about 50 years ago. Growing up and living on the poor side of life we didn't have or get ALOT of extras. When we went to the dump we scavenge lots of things wood to build with wire to use , motors from appliances to run home built tools. As a kid I gathered bicycles and other WHEELED items. Has a young inventor I came up with amazing bikes with three seats and ones with built for three and four peddles . Some worked some didn't. Once we had an old golf cart with no motor. But it didn't go with out one very long we had an old 2 HP b+s gas engine I rigged up a small eve pulley down to the one on it . For a clutch I tilted the engine front upwards with a bar bolted to the engine we pulled down on the motor to put tension on the belt . You had to see it to imagine it. We ran that old motor till she blew her head gasket , nope we made our own head gaskets . We had a giant roll of this thick paper type gasket materials. It would run and blow till we soaked the gasket in oil , after that it would last for a few days. I could cut those gaskets out quickly. My dad taught me to hammer them against the head to cutem easily. Not like today's motors with aluminum heads.
Enough about me for now anyhow.
