I've no idea of the set up in Canada but perforated sheet and strip is pretty much a stock item at many steel suppliers here in NZ. The only time I needed some stamped in a particular pattern for some advertising shop stands I had to put a minimum order of 10 sheets to make it viable but in that case I was making 5000 stands so the cost was minimal.
Strip comes in standard widths, patterns, thickness and materials here,(metrickery), and up to 3000 Meter coils. You could try contacting a large steel supply firm, Agricultural supplies,(shaker/soil removers), and also look under architectural building supply as SS perforated sheet is used often in shades, dividers and feature pieces.
