Well the first off after this amusement park ride simulation,for any kind of real world training exercise there should be a follow on exercise in an actual fuselage of a troop transport helo. with engines and rotor then drop it from 45 to 60 feet this would closely simulate the speed of the minimum autorotation decent and the impact force when it strikes the water. Will there be injuries probably, will there be deaths not if they paid attention to their instructor. Who IMO would only be a qualified instructor if he had been on one that had ditched in the water.
