I am a history teacher who builds fantasy miniatures as a hobby. I have two workshops for everything from sculpture to mold making to glass working in order to create my miniatures. I ALWAYS prefer to build my own custom tools and I found this site while I was researching dust collection DIYs.

What's next up on your project list?

well, I just built a rotating micro vidcam platform for filming wireless HD videos INSIDE my dioramas/ built a wireless stationary adjustable micro cam gantry to take HD stills/ added two more lighting arrays / made three new molds for architectural details......


all of which is not bad since I have been the hospital/home bed rest for about the last 8 weeks



ps Jonathan - besides the dust collector - WHAT was it that I intended to build when I first got here? I swear I cannot remember and it was important for some reason
