Red face Hello from New Zealand

Not much to say, just than I'm a retired teacher, an avid do-it-yourselfer, general puddler and enjoy making stuff both on a computer and in my workshop.

A variety of things. for some time I worked for a company creating 3D models for their military training simulator. This was an extension from designing 3D models that were unfolded and printed on card for model railways. Now I use the same techniques to create physical models on a 3D printer. In the past I've built furniture out of wood. In the homemade tools I once built a wood lathe, a 12" disk sander, a free standing belt sander and various jigs as I've needed them.
Currently I'm building a greenhouse, the biggest project I've ever tackled.

Looks good so far. I better not show that to my wife, I know she's been wanting me to build one.

    Hi Colonel_Klink,

    Welcome!

Very impressive structure. My wife would want one, too, though I've got community regulations to hide behind...

hey guys, this has been a 6 year project. It started when we bought the house 6 years ago. I went through several different ideas, hoop house, glass house etc, until deciding on this one. In that time I was accumulating materials... The plastic to cover it has been on the back seat of my pick-up for over a year . My missus wasn't keen on it being built where it is, but only having a small section (lot) there was not much option but to build it where it is.
