Hello new to the site and wanted to introduce myself

Hello everybody. I came across this site while surfing the Web for some home built tool design for a small benchtop metal working lathe that i recently purchased and just starting to learn how to operate. Im an automotive paint repair tech by trade and I'm interested in anything mechanical. Im a bigtime garage tinkerer and absolutely love making or creating something useful from a pile of junk. Ive always been interested in the metal working trades but never had the time to invest into learning but that has recently changed and I'm here to learn and possibly share what knowledge i may have that could help others. I like to read and I generally ask a lot of questions. I will try to search for answers before i just ask however im not that literate with computers and my Google-Fu is not the best so please don't come down to hard on me for asking a question that may have been asked thousands of times.

If you've got questions, by all means, please do ask away. If they're building-specific, just post them in our Help Me Build subforum and you're sure to get some helpful replies.
