just a old roofer that lives in the woods with a wife of 32 years that does some tinkering,
somethings we have done together
took a 40ft Mobil home frame and turn it into a cover bridge with benches on both sides also wide enough and strong enough for the wife's Kobuta RTV 900 to go across a 28ft drainage ditch.
Mounted a SUV receiver cargo hauler with a tool box on the box scraper on back of the tractor.
i had a big fall (24ft) a few years back and my rehab to my self was to put up a 46 ft carport (pick up truck port) with a small 12 x 26 shop off the side of it and wrap the porch around the house.
my latest project is a 42 x 45 shop with a 42 x 15 camper bay making the building 42x 60, i put in 3 10x8 garage doors and put the man door in the camper bay. so far it is under roof with the walls insulated, covered with plywood, electric is ran and water spigot at the front between 2 doors. nothing special yet
my plains is
bay #1 will be for wood working, with a miter saw table/self, a big set up table with the table saw on the end,
bay #2 will be for working on our vehicles and just parking my truck.
bay #3 will be for the lawn mower, atv and tractor, also i would to put my metal working station their (bench grinder, drill press and welder).
their will be plenty of storage with self's and work benches all the way around .
That's the plain anyway and subject to change every time the wife sticks her nose in the shop.
anyway that is a little about me and most likely the most you will see me type out at one setting , and forgive my spelling and grammar. i can look at a map one time and drive across country a go right to the place, or rebuild gas and diesel motor, hunt, fish, even plant a garden but writing not so much,
just keeping it simply and doing it our way.
Thank you for letting join hope to get some great ideas to use in my new shop and in the wife's new shop (my old shop)
