I'm Ray from Maryland and live on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Just retired from 34 years of power plant work and 6 years of submarine duty before that.
I've always worked a lot more in wood than metal. But, I'm really fascinated by metal working. Have plans to learn to weld this fall and further develop my fledgling blacksmithing skills.
The talent in this group is amazing. I just hope to absorb a small percentage of the knowledge on display here.
