Ken its a little Victor lathe
he is a quick tour of the shop I work at .. My current job at a plastic extrusion company has me basically standing by in case something breaks then I can fix it which leaves me with free time to build stuff.. hence ball turning tool

Both CNC are set up with 4 Axis
Hardinge lathe just took a crap a week ago not sure what wrong with it ... something is the axis drive is alarming

What else have you built while standing by? Remember the Maytag repairman, or am I dating myself?

i'm always building something Good thing about my job is I can build everything in Solidworks before I actually make it ..
made these for each of the manual lathe
also built this for the Bridgeport makes tool changing so much nicer need to build 2 more for the other machines in the shop
I am sure there are more everyday things I will take pictures and post as I come across them
