    Hello from Illinois

Been doing metal fabrication for a long while and found this site several years ago. Thought it was time I join. My next project is a rod bender, I saw on here that gave me some ideas.

Thanks Jon. I am still working it out in my mind. Seems I'm always needing to bend flat stock or rod. So many different ways to go about it...but not having a welder right now cuts down on those options.

    Hi Ducati250Single,

    Welcome!

As a Ducatisto myself, I'm curious about your username. Let's see some pics of your bike!

Here's a pic of it as a flatracker, the way purchased it, not all there in this pic but you et the idea. I'm in the process of making it street legal again, it was missing all those things I need now.

Very cool! What's your restoration plan? Going back to factory stock or something else? Can't wait to hear it fire for the first time!

I'd like to put it back stock, but you know how expensive DUCATI parts are, especially something 50 years old...her birthday is this year.

Yup, vintage Duc parts (especially NOS) are pricey, but it could always be worse, right? Could be Ferrari!
