    Smile hello from idaho

Long time woodworker. Now my shop is run 100 percent by solar power. ( generator in winter= short solar days) i would enjoy switching to making tools instead of buying them. Live very very rural. No other humans in a 5 mile radius on top of a mountain. I dont sell anything i make i usually give it away to people i enjoy pleasing. Was offered 25,000 for a jewelry box i made my daughter and turned it down. Going to start building with trees and logs some out door furniture, gazebos and a sauna and out door shower. Mostly fun stuff to build.

id like to build a double drum sander, panel saw, drill press table, rotating tool holder with cabinet under, some planes, marking tools, japanese set of saws, Clamps, Woodworker work bench. normal stuff.

Look forward to working with and sharing with the group of like minded folks.

Hi doug - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

5 miles to yourself! I'm envious; we only have 5 acres.

If you're working on logs, take a look at this log sawmill by brianpoundingnails.
