Hello everyone old retired guy

I enjoy working with my hands, I am retired. I like to take on the projects that everyone says you can't do. I do metal casting, woodworking, hobby level machine shop work, (my son is a machinist so I have to say Hobby level), and auto repair ( older vehicles and Diesels preferably.) A ya, i also tie flies and fly fishing.

I am currently modifing a drill press to Mill-drill that will mill upto a 3" face mill and most anything that you would use a Mill-drill for.

Sounds as though you've got a wide range of interests. You'll find yourself in good company here.

When the mill-drill is finished, we'd love to see it. Please post it (and any other homemade tools you'd like to share) directly in the Homemade Tools, subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
